How does bereavement affect mental wellbeing ?

NHS inform - Wellbeing and bereavement  Extract: "Grief is ordinarily characterised by mental suffering and distress, deep sorrow and painful regret. Initially, the bereaved may experience shock and numbness and deny that the loss has really happened.
